Paua Wellness is a collaboration of two professionals, Jilly and Judy. Together we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise around health and wellness, evidence based but delivered with compassion and a sense of fun.

Jilly Parkinson BA, PGCE, British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Qualified Teacher, Mindfulness UK Qualified Teacher, Member of British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA)

Having worked in the field of health promotion for most of my working life, I have a real passion for health and wellbeing and for supporting people to navigate their way through life’s ups and downs.

I have been involved in education for many years, training and supporting teachers, writing and delivering courses across a wide variety of subject areas.

Practicing yoga since my teens, I trained as a Yoga teacher in 1989. I have been teaching ever since, both at home and abroad, and it is an integral part of my life.

Having always had a mindful approach to my yoga, it seemed a natural progression to train as a Mindfulness teacher. I have been teaching the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course since 2019 and also work 1:1 to support individuals through Mindfulness.

I am blessed to live and work in the beautiful county of Cornwall. One of the effects of the pandemic has been a move to teaching online, which has opened up our teachings to anyone with online access.

Judy Mace M.A, BScHons, RM, RN, Advanced Counselling Skills, Yoga Therapist

I have been practicing and using yoga for over forty years. I qualified as a Yoga Therapist with YogaUnited™ accredited by The British Council of Yoga Therapy. My nursing and midwifery background gives me a unique perspective enabling me to provide a truly customised experience tailored around your needs.

I have experience of working with adults, children and families which enables me to work with all ages. My focus is working to what an individual needs. I use yoga for movement, flexibility, strength and breath, combined with lifestyle and nutrition, underpinned by emotional health and wellbeing.

My experiences include working with people with disability, long term conditions, complex life experiences, emotional ill health and everyday life challenges.

My passion is whole body health, fitness and wellness, using movement, talking and yoga adapted to individual needs, for all ages, abilities and conditions. The look isn't important, it's the movement and what you need that counts.
